# API Connector

API Connector is a plugin made by Bubble allowing you to connect to any 3rd party API giving you access to tens of thousands external solutions. Read more about the basics of using API connector in [Bubble manual](https://manual.bubble.io/core-resources/bubble-made-plugins/api-connector). 

When it comes to the template, by default, you find pre-built API calls such as:

* Sendgrid - Send Email - basic POST call for sending emails with Sendgrid. It also works with attachments. Learn how to work email work with openBuild template[ in this section](/working-with-the-framework/transactional-email.md).
